Module 4: Small Business Coaching

This is a very intensive 4 day course consisting of theory, practical and assessment. The assessment is continual throughout the 4 days. The days are Saturday to Tuesday.
 
The course will explore the role of the Small Business Coach in the modern world and ask you to think about the numerous reasons people will seek a Small Business Coach. You will learn new skills as well as how to use all the skills you have to set up and run your own business and help others with their businesses too.

  • Time really is money; how not to waste either

  • Joint Ventures and referals
  • Congruency, Consistency and Testing
  • Tactical Profiling and Tactical Socialising
  • Marketing, Press releases, Media advertising – paper, websites, etc.
  • Networking, Social Media and Blogs
  • Branding
  • Setting up and marketing your Coaching Business

Module Outcomes
  • Understand what is meant by the term Small Business Coaching
  • Learn to understand the preferences of clients and use the correct approaches with them  
  • Learn the skills involved in enabling your clients to reach their personal and business goals, (often the same), and fulfil their full potential
  • Create a “toolbox” of techniques that business coaches use
  • Manage and structure business client appointments; manage reports and progress
  • Improve your communication with the client
  • Further develop your own effective coaching skills
  • Understand the requirenments of starting a private business, for yourself and clients
  • Learn how to interact professionally and effectively with sole traders and small business owners 

 Assignments will be required to be completed before the last day.
